A more thorough understanding of the use of the G ball in flexibility exercises. A review of the important muscle groups. A majority of my clients are over 60 and many of them are losing flexibility. Although I have always included stretching in my sessions I now have a much better understanding of how to incorporate an effective stretching routine in my sessions. There are a lot of great easy stretches in the videos. I plan to use this for myself, family, and clients to get a great relaxing stretch, using innovate movements with the fitness ball. I have learned different stretches that can be done with the G ball. I conduct fitness assessments and if someone has poor flexibility in a muscle group, I have stretches I can recommend.

This course has augmented my stretching knowledge and has shown me innovative stretching techniques using the G ball as opposed to simply just static stretching. Throughout my work as a trainer my clients would inquire about stretching, especially for their lower back. All I really had to offer them was some of the simple static stretches that I knew. After completing this course and executing these stretches on a G Ball myself, I honestly contend that these stretches have greatly improved my flexibility, endurance, and have reduced much of the pain and stiffness I had in my lower back and shoulders from weight lifting and other exercises. I will incorporate these stretches into all of my client’s routines going forward. I look forward to completing more of your courses.

The course gives great guidelines and programing to assess and create a solid flexibility program for clients. I can use this course with assessing any new client I might start training and or a client coming back from injury to get them back into their regular fitness program. Every trainer should have this knowledge as a good sound base to better assess their clients to create the best and most effective, individualized fitness program.
I use the stretches themselves already, but the addition of the G Ball makes it possible for a wider range of people to get a benefit from the stretch, while also emphasizing proper form. When I did the exercises myself, I found that the addition of the ball allowed me to relax deeper into the stretch, creating a feeling I would call yummy deliciousness. I would use the flexibility exercises in the flexibility segment of an ordinary class or with clients who are recovering from injuries or have limited range of motion.
The pictures were graphed or shown clearly. The muscle groups used in each stretch were clearly defined, as were the directions on how to perform the stretch. Affordable and valuable.
I have learned G Ball Exercises for each muscle group with great form tips and easy assessment criteria. I will better be able to fit G Ball exercises into a wider audience. I can now better explain the huge benefits to flexibility and how important it is at every age. I wish more people were exposed to the important of flexibility and how it fits in with the rest of their training program.
The demonstrations of the exercises on the DVD were excellent.

I like the idea of using the stability ball for an easy glide through stretching movements. Clients who don’t enjoy traditional stretching routines seem to enjoy the addition of the ball, so it’s one more training variation I can offer.

Familiar with lots of stretches already, but lots of great new stretches involving the stability ball I wasn’t aware of/unfamiliar with. Will be great to add into warmups and cool downs. Stretching and flexibility plays a key role in posture and life. It is very common for trainers to over look flexibility and stretching and that mistake can increases clients risk of injury. I appreciate having 3 routines, from beginner through advanced, identified in the course, as well as the charts I can use to track participant performance. Extremely helpful! I have many cancer survivors who are dealing with cancer related fatigue. They need to be active, but structured exercises are too much when they are fatigued. The stretching programs are ideal for them. Very clear DVD instructions.

I have gained, and reinforced, many important stretching and anatomical concepts as a result of taking this course. As appropriate, I will suggest and demonstrate to my clients the various stretches included in this course. I greatly admire the complete, yet succinct, exposition of the various stretches and concepts, as well as the brisk pace, and highly organized presentation, characteristic of the instructor.
It provides me with further insight to proper form with stretching. The importance to maintaining flexibility and provide quality movement combined with stretching. The client assessment sheets are of industry standards and become a useful tool for me to use to gage the progress of my clients. Range of motion is necessary at any age however, as the body ages the range becomes less because the stretching becomes more uncomfortable for the aging client. Thus the decline in movement comes into play. By providing our clients with easy and non threatening stretching and movement to incorporate stretching the client feels confident and is more willing to not only stretching during their sessions with me, but I can provide them an at home stretching routine they can do comfortably on their own. This then in turn allows me to go back to their assessment sheets to show them their continued progress in their stretching and range of motion. I have always focused on mobility first then they can enhance their movement.
I have returned to GMP Fitness programs over two CEU time periods, I like the direct delivery of the training. All clients need to keep a well rounded training program and the stability /G Ball is a grrrrreat way to cross train. Thank you for putting together these excellent programs.
As with all GMP courses, it improved my knowledge and gave me many more avenues in which to teach and train. Seems as though it’s much better to stretch with a G Ball. Stretching is extremely important for better joint mobility. I will apply by showing each and every client will be shown at least 23 new G Ball stretches for each training session. Appreciate all the pics and easy to understand demo pics/videos.
