Refreshed and updated activities and exercises. Will use it with my athletes in the clinic and at the school system.
New drills to incorporate. Information as to helping an athlete depending on hand/eye coordination. We have sports driven practice so this will be helpful when assessing athletes and injury prevention.
Gained new exercises to work on agility, core strength, balance, speed, coordination and muscular strength with my clients. I will use this material by conducting fitness assessments based on my clients goals.
Broader understanding of the subject matter. I see this as motivational in seeking more continuing education. I am looking forward to the next program.
I enjoy the information and techniques described. Allows for proper Training sequences for Athletic assessment and agility. It will be used to train high school students and assess their abilities to improve their movement and athletic experiences. Great course and a great way of learning.
I learned how to better communicate with clients using both verbal and visual cueing during each training session. I will using verbal cueing with clients who are more verbal learners and I will use more visual cueing with clients who are more visual learners.
Good connection between muscles, weakness and exercises to fix it.
I enjoyed the links that were provided to further expand on the subject. I will be able to use these in my practice for further reference and patient education. There are always new drills that I am not familiar with and being able to perform and demonstrate these to clients is always helpful.
I gained a better understanding of how to increase speed & agility for my clients. I will incorporate agility and speed drills with my workouts for my clients to better increase performance. There is a wealth of information in these courses, but perhaps narrowing down the essentials would be helpful in the future.
I gained some more information and resources in helping my patients improve the postural health, and some more ideas on how to get my business’ name out in front of people. I plan to make some changes to my online presence and scripts and infographics when talking about musculoskeletal health with my patients.
An extra tool in the belt to help patients. Teaching functional movements to strengthen and support care.
More tools to use for enhancing training sessions and improving structural core strength. Tips on how to improve movement with core strength, hand eye coordination exercises and agility training. Well written with easily relatable information to patients, great work.
I have learned new knowledge that will help me educate students and health professionals on the importance of plyometrics. I will implement new techniques from the coursework to my programs that i will administer to people who wish to improve speed and power. I enjoyed the course and look forward to using my new knowledge as a health educator.
As a yoga instructor for the individual client and an entire class it has helped me to better explain some specific stretches that I normally don’t implement in my classes. I also liked very much the G-ball stretching and strengthening exercises as I wasn’t familiar with many of them. For me that was a new learning curve and I’m very confident now in use of the G-ball. I think it covered each body part thoroughly and safely. Many people forego stretching after their workouts or just in everyday living. It’s a very satisfying feeling to know how to explain each stretch and what exactly it helps and how to show the client how to properly implement it in their everyday lives.
General knowledge. I will apply in working with athletes.
Refreshing handout stretches to patients.
Knowledge for being a better trainer and instructor on this subject. Better instruct clients and classes. I will continue to use GMP fitness for future certifications.
Practical and easy to implement. I?ve been referencing the course for exercises for my older adult clients that are losing balance and mobility … excellent!
I liked the tests, diagrams, explanations and having the files provided by GMP to take notes as I go, as a convenient reference.
Your go to, all-inclusive kit for coaching competitive athletes/clients who are ready to go to the next level. Activities add vibrancy to the workouts.
